Who’s behind the delicious eats at Nixo Patio Lounge? Meet Executive Chef Ben Diaz.
He brings over 15 years of experience in the Los Angeles culinary scene, leading the experienced team.
With a focus in seasonal and locally grown produce, Ben was trained early on at JW Marriott and Stockdale Country Club before journeying to Executive Chef at Nixo Lounge and becoming Director of Epices De La Vie Gourmet Salts & Spice Co.
Chef Ben has also achieved numerous accolades for World Chard Champion (pork division), Western Regional Champion for Phillips King Crab, San Diego Food Fest Grand Champion and Made for Chefs Throw Down Champion, but you may recognize him for his appearances on Food Network’s Chef Wanted and Cutthroat Kitchen, and as winner of Cooking Channel’s Farmers Market Flip.
