Why is there an additional charge on my credit/debit card after checking in to my room?
An authorization of $100.00 per day, in addition to room and tax, will be taken to cover nightly incidental fees such as the destination fee, parking, minibar, restaurant, or other room charges. Note: If you are using a debit card, this fee will show as a charge until after checkout once the actualized amount is processed through your bank. This could take up to 3 days to clear the following checkout.
Are pets allowed at the Hotel?
The Hotel offers complimentary accommodations for dogs, with no pet fee or deposit required (up to two per reservation). Just dogs, though. You’ll have to keep the Shetland ponies at home.
How much does it cost to park at the Hotel?
Overnight valet parking is $45 plus tax and includes in-and-out privileges and 24-hour secured parking. The Hotel does not offer self-parking.

Is there a resort fee at the Hotel?
A daily destination fee of $20 plus tax will be automatically charged to your guest room and includes: unlimited local and domestic long distance phone calls, complimentary high-speed internet and Wi-Fi, 2 bottles of water at check-in, $10 food and beverage credit to Nixo Patio Lounge per stay, complimentary in-room coffee, complimentary coffee each morning in the hotel lobby, access to a hotel bicycle (based on availability), access to Gold’s Gym- located 3 blocks from Luxe City Center, priority seating and live entertainment at Nixo Patio.
May I make a reservation via email?
Not by email, but you can book online, or by calling direct to 213-748-1291 or toll-free 1-888-336-3745. Credit card information is required to confirm a reservation.
Do you have rollaway and/or cribs?
Yes. There is a $20 per day fee for rollaway, and cribs are complementary. Some rooms may not accommodate a rollaway and fire codes may limit the number of persons that may occupy a room.
Do you offer babysitting services?*
The Hotel does not offer babysitting services, but our concierge or guest service desk can assist you in arranging a sitter from one of the nearby companies. These companies are operated by outside agencies, are licensed and bonded, and charge by the hour. Many have a 4-hour minimum. *The Hotel is not responsible for the services of outside vendors.
Is there transportation to other parts of LA for dining and shopping?
Absolutely. Public transportation is available to various locations throughout Los Angeles. Taxis and town car services are also available. The Hotel’s concierge will be more than happy to discuss the most convenient options with you.
Does the Hotel have guest laundry?
The Hotel has coin-operated laundry facilities open from 7 am – 10 pm.
Does the Hotel provide transportation to and from the airport?
We do not provide transportation to or from the airport, but there are several options for ground transportation including public taxis and www.supershuttle.com or www.primetimeshuttle.com. Our concierge is happy to arrange formal transportation as needed.
Do all the guest rooms have bathtubs?
Our Superior, Deluxe and Executive Suite guest rooms feature luxurious rain shower heads, however no bathtubs. The Hotel’s two exclusive Platinum Suites do feature spa-style bathrooms complete with a soaking tub
Will the Hotel receive and hold packages for guests?
We are happy to receive single packages for individual guests at no charge. For inquiries about bulk shipments or materials for groups or special events please contact the Hotel.
When is check-in and check-out?
Check-in time is 3 pm. Check-out time is 12 pm.
Is there a fitness center?
The fitness suite is located on the third floor and is available from 7 am – 10 pm. Workout equipment includes Precor EFX 883 Elliptical Fitness Cross Trainer, Precor TRM 885 Treadmill, Precor UBK 885 Stationary Bike. Downtown L.A.’s Gold’s Gym offers complimentary access for Luxe City Center Hotel guests and is located three blocks from the Hotel.
Does your hotel have a pool?
We do not have a pool on-site, however, we offer access to Gold’s Gym where there are pool facilities for your fitness needs.
Does your hotel have a business center?
We do not have a formal business center, however, our concierge and guest service team is happy to assist with printing, mailing and with access to our wireless service.
What times are your restaurant and bar open?
Stafford and Mathis are open for breakfast from 6 am-10 am daily, and Nixo Patio Lounge is open from 4 pm –11 pm daily.
